Faced with economic, political and geopolitical uncertainty, with the artificial intelligence revolution, with the weight of over-regulation and unfair competition, and with the deep transformations running through our societies, leaders must increasingly decide without knowing everything, without understanding everything, without controlling everything.
Brunis Group exists to support the preparation and the execution of the most complex decisions, through a holistic advisory offer for the leaders of organisations ready to weather any storm, provided they are supported by partners they trust.
Thinking and acting across boundaries, in confidence, for a moment to bring a crisis to an end or for the long term to build what comes next, always close to its clients: that is what Brunis Group is for.
The offer
A holistic approach to supporting decision-makers
What we do
A complete offer for the most strategic decisions.
Aligning an organisation’s strategy with a world that grows more complex by the day calls for a holistic approach to advice. At the crossroads of communications, influence, crisis management, the battle of ideas, law and finance, Brunis Group layers frames of analysis and repertoires of action, to help those who decide understand better and act better in the face of uncertainty.

Aligning a company’s growth with the opportunities a market offers often means deciding without holding all the cards. Targeting, negotiation, court proceedings, financing — designing and executing an acquisition plan, sometimes to very short deadlines, takes real craft. From the classic bolt-on acquisition to the takeover of a distressed business, Brunis Group brings proven expertise and a network of trusted partners across every financial, legal and human dimension on which these transactions depend, and from which the finest successes are built.
Aligning a strategy with everything export growth demands: reading the markets, choosing the timing, identifying and reaching trusted counterparts, mastering the intercultural dimension, securing the business. These are the conditions of a successful international move, particularly in high-potential developing economies, and above all in Africa. Brunis Group supports the international momentum of companies by bringing together the expertise, the methods and the networks it takes.
The founder
Twenty years across government, the press, business, the non-profit sector and employers’ organisations.
Born in Pau in 1981, Bastien Brunis grew up in the Basque Country and in the Pyrenees, where his family comes from. He studied at the Sorbonne and at Nanterre, and holds a master’s in international relations, a master’s in comparative law (African legal systems) and a postgraduate degree in the law of political life (communications and journalism).
Already drawn to international affairs, he devoted his final dissertation to China’s external energy policy, while developing the attachment to Africa that would take him there many times, privately and professionally.
After beginning his career at the French interministerial road safety delegation (2004), in 2008 he joined the media outlet Acteurs publics, where he led communications and development alongside its founder, Pierre-Marie Vidal, before serving as an independent director from 2021 to 2023.
In 2015 he founded his first company, Solicom, a communications agency based in La Courneuve, in the heart of the Cité des 4000, which until 2023 launched the careers of more than thirty young people from France’s working-class neighbourhoods.
In 2024 he founded Brunis Group, to put his experience, his skills and his network at the service of decision-makers. He also invests in entrepreneurial ventures he believes in, as president of the premium events company Métafore and as a partner in the strategy consultancy Mascaret Group (Mascaret Partners and Bona Fide), and through his holding company Brunis Invest builds stakes in artificial intelligence, consulting, communications, events, real estate and hospitality — following his forebears, architects in Pau and hoteliers in Lourdes.
Active within MEDEF, France’s largest employers’ federation, he has held several executive roles: president of MEDEF de l’Est parisien since 2020, he has served on the Executive Council and the Comex40, and as a national spokesperson. Since 2021 he has been an elected member of the Paris Île-de-France Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
